Immediate Needs

Find Food Today or Tomorrow

Greater Chicago Food Depository's Find a Pantry tool allows you to find a distribution today or tomorrow, and the search can expand to include diapers.

24/7 Fridges and Dropboxes

Community fridges and pop up boxes are a good resource, although they are emptied more often than they are filled. A map of our locations are here. Also, Stuffed Love gives away groceries on Mondays and Fridays at 6pm at 5525 S Pulaski.

Get Help Enrolling in Benefits

As part of the Healthy Southwest Food Security Coalition, we are connected to Southwest Organizing Project, who can assist you with benefits enrollment for WIC, SNAP or Medicaid through our many partners. Simply fill out this form and a representative will contact you directly.

Immigration Info

If you are concerned about ICE or a threat to your immigration status, here are resources to help you plan ahead, and know your rights.

Know Your Rights

Make a Plan

Download our emergency check list to make sure you have a plan in place before something happens.

Warrant Types

Not all warrants are equal. The only warrant that allows ICE entry to your private property (your home, your car) are ones that are signed by a Magistrate Judge. Understand also that public spaces like the sidewalk in front of your home are not your private property, and proceed accordingly.

Make a Legal Appointment

Please meet with a licensed attorney, not a notario, to discuss your status. You may be able to adjust your status, but only a licensed attorney in the US can properly advise you. Here are a few you can trust.
